Martedì 8 febbraio ore 21.30 su Sky cinema autore, un film russo, ambientato nella Russia del nord. Leone d'oro e premio per l'opera prima alla Mostra del cinema di Venezia

Regia di A.Zvyagintsev, con V.Garin, I.Dobronravov; Rus 2003 (105 min). Il padre di Andrej e Ivan, adolescenti, torna dopo 12 anni. E, senza spiegazioni, li' porta con se' per un misterioso viaggio.

Bel film, veramente bello, ma triste-triste-triste... con un finale piu' triste di quanto si possa immaginare...

And you say it's triste! do you know that one of the boys, think the elder one, really drowned after film was shot and to Venezia Zvyagincev brought only one boy...life is awful.

I don't know, just that. the older boy is not with us anymore... he drowned that same summer. And movie is really very sad, i would say shocking, coz after Father's death you watch and think - oh, now he'll wake up and everything will be ok, but no...

leaves not really good feeling.
Have you seen Dancing in the dark by Lars Von Trier? it's even worse...

Ma secondo voi, perche' i film russi (belli, emozionanti, coinvolgenti) sono per la maggior parte film tristi o angoscianti?
Oppure io ho una visione parziale del cinema russo?

Penso sia normale....cio rispecchia la loro indole e il loro passato di sofferenza.....( martiri, dittature, povertàÂ )....

They make also comedies, some are very funny, but of the kind about hunt, vodka, crazy drunk people etc. and best movies are about wars and all those people who have to survive life conditions. That's why most of all are triste... it's hard to make a good movie about some nice thing :)

I'm talking about good films! I can't believe that russian nature is so sad, even if russian past was full of unpleasant things...
